Baked Apple Breakfast Win

Zego Baked ApplesI grew up on baked apples. We ate pretty healthily growing up, and somehow my mom convinced me baked apples were like a mini apple pie {okay not pie, but good}.You are going to love these. They are a sweet, rich, + yummy reminder of fall.I like to use apples on the firm side { Fuji, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, Granny Smith}.Zego oats and mix-ins are tested for over 400 pesticides such as glyphosate. It is one of my favorite food companies because they are the leader in ingredient transparency. {Use code greenandwell15 for 15% off Zego Foods}.Mix up your breakfast routine with this seasonal treat.Ingredients:4 Apples2 tbsp vegan butter1/2 c coconut sugar1 tsp cinnamon1/8 tsp nutmeg1/4 c Zego Double Protein Oats or Mix-insOptional: Top with raisins, chopped nutsFor baking- 3/4 c water to the base of the1Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C2Use a fork to mash the butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg until combined.3Stir in oats and any additional add-ins4Cut holes in the apples.
