Your new favorite beach town

It might sound slightly dramatic, but I am serious when I tell you my family desperately needed an opportunity to reconnect.

I think it might be safe to assume that most of you know what I am talking about. After staying home for the last two years, we found ourselves disconnected as a family unit.

This year, we made our way out of the Southern California area and ventured back to the Pacific Northwest, where we now call home. Our family was displaced, anxious, and overwhelmed by the reality of waiting for our home and living out of suitcases for what felt like the longest five weeks ever.

Even vacation seemed like too much work. And this mama was done.

It wasn’t until a good friend of mine, who happens to be a travel influencer from the PNW, highly recommended that we try a sweet little beach town on the coast of Washington State. Personally, I tend to stay away from the sandy vacation experience, but after seeing a few photos of the beautiful stay, I was convinced.

Mama likes nice things and let me tell you… This. Was. Nice.

When I vacation, I like to be comfortable (who doesn't), and the house, town, and view absolutely blew me away. Hello, sexy!

Seabrook, WA is it. The town was founded in 2004 and modeled after Seabrook, Fl. Seabrook is a modern version of your quintessential beach town. It has everything you would want and need. A darling little town hall, a Montessori school for the full-timers, shops, and a restaurant that would impress the gourmand in your party, a stunning wine bar, town events for the whole family.

Driving into Seabrook, you see a scenic bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and it is BREATHTAKING. Washington beaches are unique, but this one has a Florida-like feel in the summer with the depth of beautiful evergreens surrounding it. Seabrook hospitality combines comfort and privacy within the space of their luxury homes where we were treated like royalty.

Can you imagine the smell of the ocean combined with the refreshing air from the evergreen trees? Have mercy.

My family had an amazing experience staying at Miss B. Haven as our home for the week. Miss B. Haven has all the amenities you could want out of a vacation home. We had many games to play, a fantastic kid bedroom, lush towels, and bathrobes, and a BBQ amongst a picturesque backyard, a hot tub, and a kitchen so well stocked, you may have thought you were at a Williams Sonoma.

Our host did not miss a beat! The gourmet guest gift bag was incredible and everything about the stay was above and beyond.

You walk into the most inviting home and spend your days walking the beach, relaxing in a private hot tub, experiencing fine dining, and so much more. This experience was exactly what we needed to get back on track as a family.

In a couple of words, I would describe our experience at Miss B. Haven as soul rest. We were so sad to say goodbye but look forward to returning in this fall!

Regardless of the season, Seabrook have so much to offer. Seattle is an awesome place to visit, but if you’re looking for a relaxing escape for all your family to enjoy, Washington’s Beach Town is a must. It truly was such a great opportunity to sit and be present with my family despite the last few years of chaos that we have endured.

Try it yourself, you deserve it.
